Oral Piercings:

for at least 20 seconds
For the first 30 days avoid beer, dairy, bodily fluids of any kind (saliva, semen, etc), kissing, oral
sex, and smoking
Do not bite, suck, or play with your jewelry
Be careful with spicy food as it may irritate the piercing
During healing, maintain good oral hygiene
What is Normal?
Piercings may bleed on and off for the first few days to week, bruising in the area, redness, and
swelling are all normal for fresh piercings.
Your piercing may feel healed before healing is complete- be patient!
Even healed piercings can shrink or close if jewelry is removed for any length of time. Unless there is
an issue with the size, style, or material, of the initial jewelry, leave your jewelry in for the duration of
the healing process!
Itching is normal for a healing piercing, do not scratch it!
Secretion of white-ish or yellow fluid as well as the formation of "crust" around the piercing
